A baseboard comes off the wall. A casing around a window is split. Crown molding in the corner doesn't line up anymore. A chair rail that was installed as an afterthought doesn't run level. These are the jobs that show when you walk into a room, and they're the ones that stay fixed when they're done right.

Why trim shows its mistakes
Trim that is level and plumb reads as correct the moment you walk in. Trim that is off reads as crooked forever after, even if only by a quarter inch. Bad cuts and poor miters show up at every shadow angle, and gaps between pieces that should be tight give you a seam instead of a line. Trim painted over nail holes and fasteners instead of filled shows every work day forever.
How trim gets installed
We measure the wall, the opening, or the ceiling, and we cut to fit. Existing trim gets matched in profile whenever possible, then installed plumb, level, and parallel so the seams run straight and tight. Fasteners are sunk, filled, and sanded so there's nothing for paint to read as a flaw. The goal is for the trim to disappear into the wall once it's painted.
Staying in the carpenter's lane
Paint and stain are not ours. A trim detail that needs structural support or a load-bearing function beyond a frame is outside carpentry scope. Tile backing and moisture barriers belong to the licensed trade doing the tile.

Will you install trim that matches what I have?
Yes. If your existing trim is stock casing, we buy new stock and match it. If it's a true-dimension profile or something custom, we cut it to match. The closer the match, the less noticeable the work. Send a photo of the trim you want matched when you call.
What trim work do you do?
Baseboard, chair rail, crown molding, window casing, door casing, picture rail, and other finish carpentry. We cut, fit, and nail it. Paint and stain are outside our scope—the carpenter's part is installing it straight, level, and plumb, with consistent gaps and miters. Call (864) 529-9975 with a photo of what you want done.
My old trim has paint on it. Can you work with that?
Yes. We can work around painted trim or remove it carefully if you want new material installed. If you're keeping the old trim and want new casing beside it, we'll match the profile and paint it to blend. The goal is for the seam to disappear once it's painted.
Do you do custom trim or just stock profiles?
Both. Stock trim from a big box is the common path. If you have a profile that matters—maybe something from the original house—we can match it or mill it to order. Tell us what you have and what you want when you call (864) 529-9975.
